Clunbury CE Primary School federated with two other small schools (St Mary’s Bucknell CE Primary School and Newcastle CE Primary School) to form the Blue Hills Federation in September 2017.
The governors of the Blue Hills Federation (Clunbury CE Primary School, Newcastle CE Primary School and St. Mary’s CE Primary School) are seeking to appoint an exemplary practitioner with a proven track record to join our thriving primary school. The governors are seeking to appoint an applicant who would welcome leadership and management opportunities.
The successful candidate will be based at St. Mary’s CE Primary School, Bucknell. They will be required to teach a small class of Reception/Key Stage 1 pupils. The successful applicant will be well supported by skilled Teaching Assistants and a newly qualified HLTA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operational management and leadership of the school. To widen leadership opportunities across the Federation, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to be part of the Federation Senior Leadership Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with the leader of our pre-school which is based on site to support effective transition.
This is a superb opportunity for a candidate wishing to develop their leadership skills within the context of a supportive team. The newly appointed person will play a key role in continuing to develop the school on its journey towards outstanding.

Clunbury C.E. Primary School and Nursery is a three class rural school plus our maintained Nursery. The school caters for children of two to eleven years of age. As a result of parental preference, children from outside the school catchment area can be admitted to the school.
